Reflection #9

Today me and my partner took it upon ourselves to come to our engineering class and work more on our project since we know that our project is due Monday when we walk in the door. We worked on our finish product, and we should be fiinish by Monday! (=

Reflection #7

Today we started cutting out pieces because we finished drawing them onto the cardboard. Cardboard is very hard to cut  might I add. It's hard to cut a straight line. While we were cutting out our pieces we realized that we would need multiple pieces of the same piece. So we started drawing more pieces onto the cardboard.

Reflection #6

Today we started drawing our pieces onto our cardboard. We double checked some measurements and changed some.

Reflection #5

Today I worked on my final sketch with dimensions. I drew the picture large enough so that I can see every part. Then I put all of the dimensions where they should be. After that I created a list (name of piece= width x height x #ofpieces) for 5 different pieces of the chair.

Reflection #4

Today we worked on our report. We turned in pages 1-3. Miguel worked on our design matrix so we could add it to our report and I started on our sketches.

Reflection #3

Today, we worked with our team to get our report done for February 3rd. Me and Miguel split up the work based on who would do what. Then we got to work.

Reflection #2

Today we were allowed to make another prototype. Only because some of the class prototypes didn't work. Or some people didn't even do theirs. I made another one, but it was of the same chair. It took me a while to think of what I should use for the support. Then I finally decided to add a piece to the bottom of the chair, realizing that it would help the chair stop from leaning to the side. When I finished my chair, Mrs. Nguyen tested it & it passed the test!
